Father's Day Shenanigan's

Father's Day is extremely important to me. I've had two very important father's in my life. They both mean so much to me:
Firstly, the lovely man in this photo is my step-dad, Jim. He is seriously the greatest blessing for our family. He stepped in after my Dad died when my sister was 5 and I was 8. He has taught me so much and I am very grateful for him.
This is my biological father, Dean. He will always be loved and missed. He is the reason I'm so cute. Haha, but seriously, I miss him dearly. This year it will be 11 years gone.

Also, sorry for not blogging as much as normal, I've been extremely busy! Hope you had a great weekend!

Mika's 7 months old!

Mika is 7 months old:
Weight: 40 lbs
Height: 20 inches
Favorite toy: Bone/us
Favorite human food: bananas with peanut butter
Sleeps all the way through the night (finally).
Still sleeps the majority of the day, but when she is awake is very energetic.

She is seriously the most spoiled dog. But, she is totally worth it, to me. She is our child. We take her everywhere with us. Actually, that's why we got her certified to be a service dog (her vests come in the mail over the next week or two), so we can take her everywhere.

Ok, so a story about the bananas and peanut butter: She used to just gobble up bananas and go crazy about them. Then, one day I was having bananas and peanut butter as a snack and I gave her a small piece with some peanut butter and she gobbled it right up. Later that day, Cody was eating a banana and he tried to give her some. Understand, we can never eat bananas without giving her some because she gets mad at us and is spiteful the rest of the day. As I said, spoiled. Anyways, she turned her head at him and came to me because she knows I'll put peanut butter on it. She is spoiled.

Have a fantastic day! I've got to go spoil her some more.

Currently...

... I am Starbucks using the Internet and drinking some Green Tea. I'm working and relaxing, mainly relaxing and it feels great. I'm pretty exhausted, but that is kind of expected after a very long day of moving. And on top of that, I haven't been eating the best the past few days (pizza, pizza, pizza!), but that's ok, I'll be right back on track tomorrow.
Moving is hard. But, very rewarding when it's all done. I'm ready for that part. Ready to share some photos and to get some plants and neat things for the apartment. I enjoy apartment living, a lot.

I think I'm going to start training for a 5k. Or retraining myself. I need to get back into the groove of running, it's been kind of challenging. It's not so easy to just stop and then restart again. If it was, that'd be awesome. But it's not.

Have a fun filled weekend!

Here are a few pictures of my trip to Europe; Enjoy!

We Have a Place to Live!!

I'm very excited to announce that we have found a place to live! We are in the process of moving, but I did take some before we moved in pictures, so I will be able to share what it looks like before and through the process of making it our home! I'll share the photos tomorrow!

Some details about the apartment: It's a one bedroom, one bath apartment with a cute little porch. It's absolutely perfect for Cody, me and Mika. I've been busy, but I thank you for being patient with me!
