Christmas Tree

This year, I didn't think we were getting a Christmas tree. It just didn't seem practical to us, at first, in this tiny space. Then, I had went through a nutty nesting moment (actually, this was more Cody than me) and we moved the furniture around in our apartment (moving couches and whatnot) and it opened up a lot of space. It was actually kind of surprising how much living space it gave us. I liked it, a lot. Then, there was an amazing deal on the Christmas tree, so we just had to do it.

I absolutely love it. I love Christmas and the lights and sounds and just everything it brings. This will be Cody and I's last Christmas as just the two of us and there is something very exciting about that. I am definitely looking forward to the changes that are to come. Anyways, adding a Christmas tree really did make our home what it needed to be this Holiday Season. It's pretty to look at and it just brings it's own sense of cheer.
What's your favorite part about Christmas?

Making our home Christmassy

1. Adding tea lights to mason jars and setting them about the house. // 2. Made a banner out of shiny red and silver paper (more on that soon.... and better photos). // 3. Made square snowflakes to hang over our dining room table. // 4. I love how they look with the lights on (especially at night). // 5. Added snowflakes over our couch. // 6. Still needing some new pillows, but I absolutely adore easy homemade decorations. // 7. Tea light lights.

We don't have a lot of Christmas decorations and while I have been on the hunt for some, I have made a few to keep my heart happy during this season. I more than likely wont be getting any until they go on sale or people start getting rid of more at thrift shops, so its a process. And I really want Cody to be involved in this process.
Having a small apartment with not a lot of space as it is, it can get hard to have a tree and other things. What are some things you do to decorate during the holidays?

Sunday Funday

Happy Sunday! I've really enjoyed my time off these past few days, I've done some projects, enjoyed the company of my animals and some friends, and finally have kind of gotten over my sickness.

Here are some snapshots from my weekend:
This is my dog, her name is Topaz. She is a long haired dachshund, and almost a year old. I love her so..
Kitty: His name is Pele, like after the soccer player. He is almost 5 months old. He has a brother who is super camera shy and I couldn't get a photo ): He loves outside..
 Cuddle Time
Dying roses, but I love them.

I got this fantastic tablet, that I really recommend that photo lovers and editors should totally get. I'm actually starting to do some teaching tutorials or doing how to's on the blogs, what do you think?

Trying to be healthy and drink lots of water, but I always seem to empty my glass before I sit down. It tends to be contradictory.

Having a good Sunday? What do you have going on next week?

Comment please!
