Rainy Days // Sunny Umbrella

This is my absolute favorite umbrella. I got this and several unique home things from Jack Threads, which is Cody's favorite online store. It has a lot of neat things, it's mainly for men and it's kind of like fab.com in the way it's set up. Long story short, great website and awesome umbrella.

Growing up, my bestfriend always called me Sunshine, so when I found this umbrella, I thought it was absolutely perfect
What I'm wearing: 1. Dress from target 2. Tights from target 3. rainboots, and I don't remember where from (probably target).

Hope you have a fantastic rainy day, sometimes rainy days are needed to slow you down a little bit, which is nice.

Flowers // Spring {2013}

I've been trying to really brighten our house up with flowers since it is spring time, what are some of your favorite flowers?

I took Mika on a walk and found some beautiful flowers, so I ran home and got my scissors and a bag an took all I had room for. I love the colors in these.

Fake flowers, because sometimes you need flowers that last forever.

I love these thorny things. Perfect window accents.

See.. (:

I love sun in the trees, gorgeous.

And, of course, I ended up doing a little rearranging of some clothes so they fit me better. I'm happy to be losing weight, but I've altered way too many clothes. But, that's a good thing. I, also, made a maxi dress (that was too short on me) into a nice long skirt. Pictures soon (:

What have you done the past few wonderful days?

Spring Break in Photos: Fort Walton Beach Style

This photo was taken before we left, while I got distracted packing and was fiddling with my camera. Sometimes, some of the best captured moments come from those times.
 Just because I love food.
They have the best dog park in Destin (literally over the bridge from Fort Walton Beach). It's huge, the grass is extremely green and it was perfect. She enjoyed herself a little too much and was exhausted the rest of the day. I love it when she is all sleepy, that's when she likes to snuggle.

I got these for Christmas, customized by my lovely. I absolutely love these shoes, on the back it says "CYA" and they are extremely comfortable. I really want to start growing my collection of running shoes.

I pretty much lounged around in athletic clothes because I could never decide if I wanted to work out or not. The struggle.
I adore this plant and want one of my own. They rarely ever need to be water (so I wont kill it) and they can grow into huge bushes, or not.
My touch to Cody's mom's home. I love this flower, it was splendidly gorgeous.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe spring break (and if you are just starting it, continue to be safe)!

Little Things...

I enjoy taking random snapshots throughout the day.

Here's some from yesterday:
We have an aspiring maple tree in our front yard. He is just a baby, but is already taller than the house, thinner than average, though.
I wish I could've captured the steam coming from that little hole. I've been experimenting with beans lately. I've bought a bag of dried beans and I either have to boil them or let them soak overnight.
My first time having chai tea. Surprisingly. I still don't know if I liked it. I guess that means I need to try it a few more times.
The sun going down while I was walking Mika yesterday. I really love this photo.
Begging, as always. We have spoiled him, horribly.
 Stepping stones and shadows.
Love.

Have a fantastic Saturday! What are you up to this weekend?
